How do I book an appointment at Maison Poire?
You can book an appointment for a tattoo or a piercing through the form available on our website.
For a tattoo, simply describe your project, the placement, the desired size in cm and the style you're after. Reference images are also important. If you've already chosen an artist, you can let us know; otherwise, we'll guide you towards the resident artist best suited to your project.
For a piercing, select the service you'd like and book directly for a Friday. If you'd prefer another day, we'll agree on the best date together via WhatsApp.
How far in advance should I book?
Is a deposit required?
Yes, a deposit is required to confirm your appointment.
For a tattoo, it is usually €50, but it may vary depending on the artist, the length of the session and the complexity of the project. It is then deducted from the final price.
For a piercing, the deposit depends on the chosen service. It is also deducted from the final price.
Do you offer walk-in services?
What payment methods are accepted for a tattoo or a piercing?
Payment is made directly to the artist. When booking, they will let you know which payment methods are accepted.
If you need to withdraw cash to pay, don't worry: there are at least two cash machines near the studio.
How much does a tattoo cost?
I'm a minor — can I get a tattoo or a piercing?
From the age of 16, it is possible to get a tattoo or a piercing, provided you are accompanied by a parent or your legal guardian.
A consent form must be signed, and the studio will keep a copy of the minor's ID as well as that of the parent or legal guardian. If the surnames differ, proof of the family relationship will be requested.
Can I bring someone with me on the day of my appointment?
My tattoo or piercing appointment is coming up and I'm starting to feel ill. What should I do?
What happens if I need to postpone or cancel my appointment?
We understand that unexpected things happen and that plans can change. If you'd like to postpone your appointment, please contact your artist at least 48 hours in advance.
If you need to cancel, we ask that you let us know at least one week in advance. In the event of a no-show or late cancellation, the deposit paid at booking will be retained.
What if my tattoo needs a touch-up after healing?
Your tattoo artist will tell you the recommended waiting time before any touch-up. For tattoos done by our resident artists, the first touch-up is free.
A touch-up isn't automatic. Your tattoo artist will assess the healing to determine whether a touch-up is really needed.
A touch-up does not include changes to the tattoo. It only serves to correct any small pigment loss or imperfections that appear during healing. If you'd like to alter your tattoo or add new elements, this will be charged according to the project, once agreed with your tattoo artist.
